2. "Verity" of a statement - conformity with "fact".
3. Indisputable truths, e.g. Mathematical principles.
4. The state of being true.
5. Honesty, integrity, truthfulness.
6. Agreement with a standard or original.
7. Accuracy, as of position or adjustment.
8. Fidelity or constancy.
9. In truth, in reality; in fact; actually: e.g. "In truth, moral decay hastened the decline of the Roman Empire."
